Get Involved

Help grow the shared preparedness collection.

Disaster Clippy is a shared open project. People can use it, improve it, extend it, and carry it into their own communities.

Use the platform

The simplest way to get involved is to use the hosted app, read the docs, and explore the collections model. People who understand the public-facing product help make the platform clearer and more useful.

Follow the public repo

The public codebase is the best place to understand the runtime, the source model, and the technical direction of the project. It is also the clearest place for technically inclined contributors to see what is already working and what still needs help.

Contribute in different ways

Not every contribution needs to be code. Useful help can include testing the hosted app, improving docs, reviewing pack descriptions, suggesting missing sources, validating outputs, or experimenting with local installs.

Why this matters

A shared, inspectable preparedness platform gets stronger as more people test it, explain it clearly, and improve the collections behind it.
